On the night of Graduation 2018 for a lot of local high schools, teens were out in force celebrating their new steps in life and education.

While some feel like marijuana should be legal, it still isn't in Mississippi, so police are still required to confiscate it and ticket or arrest you if you're in possession, depending on the jurisdiction and the agency.

This year a multi-agency detail was in operation in violent crime areas on the streets of Jackson, and federal, state and local authorities were out in force.

And as you may have learned before in previous #BehindTheScenesJPD episodes, your pants are not a safe place to store your drugs. Authorities can legally search your pants for drugs, weapons, and other contraband.

It's better to just tell them what's in your pants.
